Spring & Summer Classes 2008!

Mondays:  5:30 p. m. to 8:30 p. m. – Class Fee is $12.00 + materials & tax on materials. I do prefer that you buy your materials from Raspberry Patch unless you are working on a chair, table or something that you want to bring back to life.  You can work on any project you wish during class, but sometimes we will have a group project.  A light supper is served at 6:30.  If you need to stay beyond 8:30 p. m. to finish a project, there is a $2.50 per hour fee for each hour you stay late.

Tuesdays:  Back Porch Lunch Classes will begin on July 8, 2008.  This class will begin at 10:00 a. m. and continue to 2:00 p. m.  The fee for this class is $20.00 and one of the highlights is a wonderful lunch served on the Back Porch (weather permitting).  You can work on any project you wish during class and special projects will be on display to pick from.  Lunch is usually a delicious soup, sandwich or salad with iced tea, lemonade or coffee.  We usually have fruit for dessert with sherbet.

Wednesdays: Beginning on July 10, 2008 and until Labor Day, I will be having a Punch Needle class on my Back Porch (weather permitting) from 7:00 to 9:00 p. m.  This is a wonderful needle craft that is done with a punch that looks like a pen using weaver’s cloth for the backing, floss for the thread, and looks so beautiful when completed!  I carry the needles, needle threaders, no-slip hoops, Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works Floss and also have pattern kits available for sale.  We can also design our own patterns and you will learn how to trace your pattern onto the Weaver’s cloth and the punching techniques.  During this class I will be serving a fruit, cracker and cheese board with a glass of local Finger Lakes Wine or a refreshing glass of iced tea or lemonade.  The fee for attending the two-hour class is $10.00 each week.  You can come as often as you like.  Please let me know if you would like to attend!

Please call to register for these classes early so you will be sure to get a seat.  You will meet lots of great people and will get lots of good ideas from watching what other people are painting at the classes.  Spring Greetings,  Joanne
